Thanks to Doylestown, PA graphic designer Rob Larsen for this beautiful card that has been mailed to all 16 members of the Golden Era Committee.
Frog will also be carrying an ample supply of the card when he travels to San Diego early next month for baseball’s Winter Meetings, where the vote will take place and be announced on December 8.
We are pleased to let you know that Dr. David Fletcher and the Chicago Baseball Museum have joined us in the campaign to get Dick Allen elected to the Hall of Fame.
Dr. Fletcher is writing a two-part series on Dick’s qualification. Part 1 makes the case that his stats alone qualify Allen as Hall of Fame-worthy. Part 2 will focus on his career and life, including his baseball rebirth in Chicago.
Read Part 1.

Veteran sportswriter Hal Bodley has been covering Major League Baseball for 56 years. He was there when Dick Allen broke in with the Phillies in 1963 and calls his Rookie of the Year performance in 1964 one of the greatest he’s ever seen.
Hal agrees with us that Dick belongs in the Hall of Fame.
